Screaming in Digital - Issue 124

January 31st, 1994

Editor’s Notes

Greetings once again. Someone remind me to start working
on this thing before 2 AM, next week. My apologies to all the
Asian readers, who probably aren’t getting this until February.
Quite the lengthy issue this week, with old, new, and ongoing
topics. I’ve enjoyed putting it together, and hope you enjoy
reading it. A few reminders:

Hugh (am102@yfn.ysu.edu) is piecing together a list of
past tour dates and set lists. Please e-mail him any information
you have in that area. William (dhaller@umich.edu) is taking a
poll on the subject of favorite songs, exact instructions are
in this issue, please e-mail him your responses to that poll. I
(queensryche-owner@pilot.njin.net) am still pondering the idea of
getting another batch of t-shirts made, maybe this fall, e-mail
me if you’re interested or have suggestions.

Now that Prodigy reportedly has an Internet e-mail link,
I’d be most appreciative if anyone who has access to that could
mention Screaming in Digital to all the Queensryche
fans that I’ve heard frequent it.

For the next 3 or 4 issues, I’ll be in Iowa City, IA. As
usual, I’ll be making an effort to get things out on time, and
there should be no noticeable change in when the digests arrive.
Anyone in that area, feel free to drop me e-mail if you want to
be hunted down.

Screaming in Digital - Issue 123

January 24th, 1994

Editor’s Notes

Greetings once again, and welcome to all those who are
joining up at the start of the new semester. With luck, we could
be over 1200 strong by the end of the month.

So far only about 15 people have responded regarding the
idea of getting t-shirts made up, so I probably won’t be getting
it done until Fall. For those who’ve asked, yes, the design will
be different - I’ve got much more powerful graphics software now
than I did before!

This is a pretty varied issue, and my fingers are tired
from all the editing. Which reminds me - I don’t want to seem
anal, but this digest is specifically about Queensryche, and of
late I’ve had to return off-topic mail after asking that threads
be taken elsewhere. Please keep in mind that that everything you
send in is dealt with by me personally, and try to at least make
things relevant to Queensryche. Other things cause unnecessary
work. Thanks!

Screaming in Digital - Issue 122

Editor’s Notes

Greetings once again! For those of you who’ve got the
day off for the observance of Martin Luther King Day - or Ben
Franklin’s birthday, or my mom’s birthday, though I don’t know
why you’d get the day off for that - enjoy your break.
So far, there have not been many responses to my question
of whether I should do another run of Screaming in Digital
T-shirts. If the response level is still low by the end of
February, I’ll probably put it off until the fall semester.
On with the issue, enjoy!

Screaming in Digital - Issue 121

January 10th, 1994

Greetings! Despite circumstances (a major ice-storm left
much of my region without electricity) and distractions (of the
romantic sort), here’s issue 121.

I’ve done some updating work on the FAQ, and once the FAQ
server that posts it returns - from winter break? it’s a machine
for goodness’ sake! - I’ll be sending up the new version.

If anybody thinks I should repeat last year’s escapades
and get another batch of Screaming in Digital shirts made, let
me know. I’m not above it.

Screaming in Digital - Issue 120

January 3rd, 1994

Editor’s Notes

Welcome to 1994! All the rumors are now beginning to
agree that the new album will be out this year, so we’ve got
something to look forward to, at the very least. I hope you all
enjoyed the New Year holiday, and wish you the best for the rest
of the year.

As you might notice, a couple entries in this issue are
not credited to people’s real names. This isn’t a frequent
problem, as nearly 90% of people include their name in subscribe
requests, but there are a few services - America OnLine, aol.com,
is one - which often don’t include a real name in e-mail headers.
So, if anybody thinks I might not have their name, or might not
have it right, please e-mail queensryche-owner@pilot.njin.net and
I’ll check.
