Screaming in Digital - Issue 149
July 25th, 1994Editor’s Notes
Hello again, everyone! This will be the last issue for
July. To those of you who didn’t get last week’s issue, no, I
didn’t get run over by a truck. Apparently some of the mailers
around the ‘net weren’t feeling too well.
As for why this one’s coming out 12 to 18 hours later
than usual, last week was my birthday and I’ve spent the last few
days installing a new hard drive and loading software onto it. I
should be back on a normal schedule for the next issue.
For those of you who usually get the short-form Express
edition and are wondering why you got this instead, there wasn’t
any material in the usual Express categories, and I have to send
something, or people will think I got run over by a truck.

Hello again! I guess the new Queensryche album won’t be out in time
for my birthday - this week - after all. Oh well. At any rate,
forecasts of the release date are still a little vague, but they’re
starting to focus a bit.
Screaming in Digital - Issue 147
July 11th, 1994Editor’s Notes
Greetings, everyone. The impossible happened this past
week - I not only remembered to call EMI, but they were nice to
me and gave me information! Unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly the
information we had been hoping for - the new material might debut
at the Foundations Forum later this summer, but the release date
will still probably be closer to the Christmas shopping season -
they said November.
They still don’t have any details on the CD-ROM, either.
But any delays on the album from here on out are purely packaging
and marketing, and not the fault of the band.
Screaming in Digital - Issue 146
July 4th, 1994Editor’s Notes
Welcome back, and welcome to July! Happy independence
day to those celebrating it here in the U.S.
Contributions this past week have been incredibly low.
Even though the last issue included the title and release date of
the new album, and the start date for the tour, only one person
sent in anything at all for this issue.
I spent most of the week in an unsuccessful attempt to
get a job, so I still haven’t managed to torment EMI into giving
me information on the CD-ROM.
Since it’s summer and traffic is down a little bit, I’ve
got some time on my hands, and am looking for suggestions to make
Screaming in Digital a more useful resource. If you’ve got any
suggestions, please e-mail them to me at the editor address above
and I’ll see what I can do. Thanks!
